Valerian, Muskroot and Orange Blossom Oxymel (de-stressor and serotonin regulator)

$25.00

Oxymel infused with roots of valerian and jatamansi (spikenard muskroot), and essence of orange blossom. This recipe is based on a traditional remedy for anxiety, depression and stress tremors as it is intended to be very calming, used regularly or as needed.

Valerian root is considered a GABA receptor agonist known for easing anxiety and helping with stress management. Additionally, it is considered to help with tension-type headaches, lowering fatigue and reducing menstrual cramps.

Muskroot (Jatamansi) has sedative properties that also help manage anxiety, depression and hysteria. It is also known as a “rejuvenator for the intellect”, helping to improve memory and cognitive function. Both muskroot and valerian are considered to act as antidepressant and anxiolytic, modulating neurotransmitters similar to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Orange blossom is known for calming and anti-inflammatory properties as well as many potential benefits for hair and skin.

For best result as a hot or cold drink, mix 1-2 tablespoon per cup of water. Use at least twice a week and at most twice a day.

Ingredients: wildflower honey, apple cider vinegar, valerian root, jatamansi root, essence of orange blossom, spring water.
