Oxymels
The word oxymel is rooted in a Greek term meaning sweet and sour. Traditionally, oxymel is made from a combination of honey and vinegar as a remedy for helping the digestive system, strengthening the immunity and many other benefits.
At Anahita Farm, we use locally curated West Virginia wildflower honey and organic apple cider vinegar, and process them according to an ancient recipe in order to bring out the best of this heavenly combination. We then further enhance the combination by infusing it with different medicinally intended medleys of carefully selected plants and mushrooms, making a collection of "super syrups" each packed with unique natural goodness.
The result is a tasty treat that can be used to make refreshing tonics, sweeten hot drinks, boost a salad dressing or just added to your water to help with hydration retention while intaking many benefits.
